Installation
Getting set up takes under a minute

Drag Finito into Applications
Open the disk image and drag the Finito icon into your Applications folder.

Open it for the first time
Launch Finito from Applications. Since it's distributed outside the App Store, macOS may show a security prompt the first time.
If macOS blocks the app
Right-click (or Control-click) the Finito icon, choose Open, then confirm in the dialog that appears. You only need to do this once.
This is standard macOS behavior for apps distributed outside the App Store — it doesn't mean anything is wrong.
Finito is signed and notarized by Apple, so it passes Gatekeeper's security checks automatically.
Exports stay lossless. Finito renders WAV and AIFF at your session's original sample rate and bit depth — nothing is re-encoded or downsampled during export.
